A few photos from the wedding.
Ceremony and Arrival/Departure
The ceremony itself will be on Sunday, Sep. 4 at 3pm, followed by a
reception BBQ. Feel free to arrive as early as Saturday morning and stay
as late as Monday afternoon. We look forward to sharing a fantabulous
weekend with all of you.
Wedding and reception sites + accommodations
All activities - the informal Parents' Dinner on Saturday night (all are
welcome!), wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday, and all meals (from
breakfast on Saturday to Monday lunch) - will take place at a beautiful
family-owned property that sits on Lake Tahoe. Guests will be provided
free accommodations on the property as well. There should be beds for
everyone, but camping on the lovely, wooded property is also a possibility
if you're game. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to camp.
Parking
There is plenty of parking on the property.
Dress Code
For the ceremony and reception on Sunday, think "Formal Barbeque." We
would like people to dress festively yet comfortably. Most men will
probably wear suits or sport coats (but please feel free to go jacketless
if you prefer). Women will likely wear skirts or dresses ranging from fun
to fancy. Please keep in mind that while September days on Lake Tahoe are
often warm (70s), evenings can be pretty chilly (50s). If the weather
cooperates, we'll be eating and dancing outside.
RSVP
Everyone: please email blakeg@alum.mit.edu by July 31 with
a "Yes, I/We are delighted to accept" or a "No, I/We must sadly decline"
(or other appropriate wording…). Please do indicate how many of you will
attend and your best guess of your arrival and departure days/times.
